The last line is telling. All over this country (and elsewhere) people are eager to believe in conflicts of good and evil holding the fate of us all in balance. Anti-Christs, UFOs, Zionist/Muslim conspiracies, Liberal/Conservative fascist states, etc. It gives their lives meaning, their troubles a face, their beliefs an empirical virtue. And its always the bad guys who are in charge. Nobody wants to acknowledge they are responsible for their own fate.
Also whenever I see Alex Jones, I picture a frightened man in sandals leaping into bushes away from Satanic owls.

"We came up here to get away from the collapse of the American civilization. We... we really wish that would just happen already. It's kind of making us look like turds by not collapsing."
I kind of wish I cared about something as much as these guys care about this insane shit. But I also realize that it'd mean I'd be insane myself to be that obsessed.

Is this by Alex Jones or about him? The production values seemed more tasteful.
Truthers are like if AM talk radio and the internet had children.

+5 for 2:25 -- they couldn't keep people from laughing out loud at them IN THEIR OWN TRAILER.

what always strikes me about these guys is what the hell would they do if the nwo really is real and they manage to bring it down... what then? what's next? rebuild society with alex jones as a pig loudmouth emperor and david icke as minister of truth? collectives? feudal systems hierarchies? or are they planning a road warrior post-apocalyptic clusterfuck?

You have no idea how much I really WISH there was some kind of shadowy NWO-conspiracy behind the last 20 years of history. Everytime they come up, their "evil plan" seems to be along the lines of "world peace and universal human equality".
That would mean that at least the victims of 9-11, Iraq, Kosovo, Somalia, whatever you want to credit them with WEREN'T just stupid wastes for the sake of greed, hatred or stupidity, but actually a sacrifice for the sake of something worthwhile.

I do not dismiss the existence of a New World Order, Illuminati, a shadowy elite that control vast resources on this planet, because I think that it IS a possibility - however I won't tell other people that it is true, that is for each individual to decide for him/herself. I do think that the "truth" movement has spawned a subculture and it is now more about joining a club than finding out what the truth actually is.
Now, if the New World Order does exist, the idea of "fighting" them would prove quite useless, as you would become no better than what you claim them to be. But if each individual takes the time to realize what they truly are and what they want (rather than what other people want out of them), and prevented themselves from being controlled by any outside influence in effect becoming a self-controlled individual, then there's a good chance that the "New World Order" if real, would dismantle. Even if it is not real, it's not a bad idea anyway.

Camonk - 2009-02-11 Dennis Miller, before he went insane and wanted to nuke Iraq, dismissed the ideas of government conspiracies pretty handily. He said, Look do you really think someone like Al D'Amato could make a decision more far-reaching than what flavor of pudding cup to have in lunch and not call a press conference about it? These people are glory hounds. Even the Cheneys and the Kristols can't avoid getting as much attention as possible. Even Wolfowitz, one of the scariest dudes around, is pretty well known.

I mean, if someone wanted to take care of 7 billion hungry people, I'm not going to stand in their way.

He WANTS to believe there's a huge conspiracy because it legitimizes his rantings, casting himself a some sort of noble 'freedom fighter' against the biggest villain imaginable. Don't tell me that wouldn't boost your ego immensely.

The cult leader in my hometown said that the NWO has a list of everybody that's ever smoked marijuana and one day they're gonna chop of everybody on that list's head. That's why he NEVER TOUCHED THE STUFF.
and Du Pont killed his friend and is trying to kill him.
and when the aliens came him and his family stripped naked and the purple aura around the women's vagina made it rain which make the aliens go away.
Suck on that Alex Jones you fat fuckin' pussy.
