Wrestlers (the real kind... not WWE kind) use those to lose a few pounds of water weight before a weigh in. I find it amusing that they marketed these so inappropriately and probably made money off of it.

yep, MMA guys use them as well. it's like wearing a sauna, and is potentially really dangerous.

That was me in highschool. I didn't have a cool futuristic suit, but I did run while wearing garbage bags.
I once lost 2.5 lbs in an hours just by sweating and spitting.
