This is one of my favorite moments from Conan. I like the longer version better where it shows them getting ready for the show, all the practice, meeting Slipknot, but really, this is all that's needed.
Oooooooooh I don't know about that. You know how sometimes drummers like Tommy Lee and Travis Barker are hooked up to those contraptions that spin them around while they drum? Well if I remember the story correctly, Slipknot had those for every member of the band and do to a malfunction, one of the guitarists was sent flying into the crowd. And that, my friend, is pretty fucking hilarious.
This is basically par-for-the-course as far as Jon Glaser's brilliant high-concept prankery goes, but what makes it special here is the level of hostility these unwashed hambags are directing at him (I'm pretty sure the audience at a Yo La Tengo concert doesn't throw batteries).
