So the beginning of his speech is how Conservative news organizations should put a premium of factual accuracy over ideology. But then the crowd doesn't like this, so he announces "WE NEED MORE FOX NEWSES! 25 FOX NEWSES!"

He's not even talking about accuracy vs. ideology. He's just pointing out that the NYT is an actual news-gathering organization, meaning that they have reporters who go around and ask questions and investigate things and report on them first hand - as opposed to the Townhall.com model of letting other people do the reporting and then commenting about it.

That's what's so ridiculous about this - he's just making a basic distinction between reporting and commentary in terms of how they work, and they're booing him presumably because all NYT stories are in fact just cooked up in some underground lair by lieberal propagandists.

This is not trolling. Trolling would be, "Hey, guess what? You're all living in a fantasy world, because you're uniformed and incurious dolts more interested in jacking off to your own reflections than going outside your caves. Does the light hurt you? Yes. It will melt you. Better stay put."

This is a mild observation segueing into a pander.

Whoops. Uninformed. Not uniformed.

It works both ways, oddly.
