Most of the film, if I recall correctly, was BS, but that first bit with the kid was most likely based on the story of Kevin Mitnick, who was not fortunate enough to simply get fined.

A) I agree with rural - Halcyon still gets heavy play in my MP3 player. Not recommended for highway driving.

B) Angelina Jolie was like a trashy hot pixie demon in this movie.

C) 5 starts for any movie that suggests there existed a 3d virtual reality file structure system that you could fly around and manipulate like Lawnmower Man.

D) for being an elite hacker, he sure types slow.

WOw...I had totally forgotten how they play Wipeout with weird DDR interfaces.
