Violence is a personality disorder. Like the mentally ill need more stigma.

Caminante Nocturno - 2009-03-15
It sounds like he's trying to surreptitiously justify his own seething desire to commit an act of violence.

Glenn Beck makes O'Reily seem sober.
Also Glenn's muppet voice lets you know when he's just being silly, because there is no other way to tell.

Glenn is very fond of substituing his name in sentences with "The American People."
As in, "The American People feel disenfranchised and powerless. The American People hate that the president is a darkie who they didn't vote for, and that Mexicans keep moving into their neighborhoods. The American People are sick of seeing the value of their house get reduced.
"Sometimes The American People wish they had divorced that horrible money-leech dream-murderer of a wife of theirs when they still had a chance. But then the American People got famous for talking about 'traditional values' so if they got a divorce now they'd look like hypocrites. And the American People need this job. Jack Daniels doesn't pay for itself.
"The American People sometimes sit alone at home, gently stroking the barrel of their shotgun, wondering if, maybe, it is the only way out after all. Sometimes The American People go into their son's room while he sleeps, points the barrel to his temple, and counts to ten. Maybe one day, the American People will have the courage to do what they know has to be done.
"Also the American People believe in small government."

If pederasts can make great movies, guys with syphilis can write great philosophy, then there's no reason why a moron can't say something sorta noble and arguably true at least once.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2009-03-15
I may be mistaken but...does Bill O'Reilly have contempt in his voice while talking to this douchenozzle?
|
kingarthur - 2009-03-15 I'm picking up that vibe from several of Fox News' other talking heads.
|
StanleyPain - 2009-03-16 O'Reilly is very, very quick to distance himself from radically crazy, right wing bullshit that doesn't actually come out of his OWN mouth.
|
oswaldtheluckyrabbit - 2009-03-15
It takes some serious fucking effort to make Bill O'Reilly the voice of reason
|
Senator_Unger - 2009-03-15
We *just* had an election. Nobody was disenfranchised; rich, old white guys especially. The "American People" spoke and they said "Fuck Off, Republicans" so move on with your life already.
|
Hooper_X - 2009-03-16
Did he really just invoke "political correctness?" Nobody but conservatives who are upset that they can't use ethnic slurs anymore talk about "political correctness."
(real ultra-liberals talk about 'gendered/raced/heteronormative/ablist/bugbear-of-choice-here language', which is not the same thing per se, insofar as it's basically just asking people to think about where the fuck the words they use came from before using them.)
