About half-way through Hovind claims that income tax is voluntary among other fun things. Too bad the audio is out of synch.

manfred - 2009-04-11

'Doctor' Hovind's thesis is an entertaining read.

Thx. Can't stand to watch or read Hovind, so I learned quite a bit from that article. Bet that chick is a tough writing teacher.

phalsebob - 2009-04-11

Jesus... the critique is right on. He's still bouncing from one half ass 'point' to another like a monkey on a trampoline. Makes me wonder if there is serious adult ADD or mild schizophrenia going on.

manfred - 2009-04-11

Hovind is most certainly mentally ill. His perception of reality is typical of a schizophrenic person - paranoia, delusions, disorganized thinking.

Youtube has recordings of calls he made from jail to his wife. Kinda makes you feel sorry for her.

I followed Manfred's link, and a couple of clicks later found "Patriot University"'s web page. It's really hard to tell if it's a joke.

"Those LIEberal evolutionists joke that our university's campus is actually an average house in the suburbs! Fools! It's actually a double-wide in the Colorado desert!"

Alright the Prophecy Club!!!

This cult is from Topeka Kansas, same town Fred Phelps and his weirdos hail from. Although, I like the PC more because they are way more underground and they also believe in just about every Christian-theme conspiracy theory there is (Masons, End times, etc.).

Plus, their headquarters are at the end of an industrial district, a block down from a Martin Tractor Facility and between a couple Printing Presses. They are so well hidden from the rest of the city, that if you asked the average person on the street, they would not be able to tell you what the Prophecy Club is or where it is located.

TheDevilsDictionary - 2009-04-11

I live in Topeka and have never heard of these people! I'll drive by there this weekend and case the joint.

Toenails - 2009-04-11

Basically, you go down Burlingame until you get to uh... past 37th I think. I'm pretty sure it's SW 39th and it has Martin Tractor, Martin Farm Tractor and VLP industries in the vicinity. Now, if it's not on that block, look for a street intersecting 39th. I'm not sure what it is called but it goes over a bridge to another section of industries and businesses... and that is where the Prophecy Club is, trust me, you can't miss is.

Anyways, it's nice to see somebody else from Topeka on POEtv. Didn't even know that Topeka or POE was big enough for the both of us.

Toenails - 2009-04-11

scratch that... looked it up on Google, it's Burlingame to 42nd street to Martin Dr to 41st street.

It's really a the simplest way to get there... but still pretty confusing.

Cocksucker has already been caught in a lie (or a misrepresentation at the very least).

phalsebob - 2009-04-11

Hovind had never lost a debate except the one that landed him in jail. I bet the darwinist jew homosexual cut-n-run socialists are behind it though.

B. Weed - 2009-04-11

What an eminently punchable preload image.

memedumpster - 2009-04-11

It takes an infinitely humble man to say that he doesn't want to be godlike and is, instead, satisfied with just being better than you.

Also, I want an "Evolution : It's a way of life" bumper sticker.

pastorofmuppets - 2009-04-13

I want a "the great depression was manufactured" bumper sticker. Also a little more roaring 20s propaganda would go a long way on this site.

fatatty - 2009-04-11

From Evolution to the Federal Reserve to Communism to the New World Order to Satan leading the New World Order. It all makes so much sense now.

I also love the occasional "mm-hmm"s from the audience.

Sodomite - 2009-04-11

I liked at the beginning how when he listed ways that Satan can harm one's life, he said "financially" first and "spiritually" last.

pastorofmuppets - 2009-04-13

As I thought, nothing he says has anything to do with evolution. Which sort of makes creating a link between evolution and the red half-man-half-goat or whatever kind of hard.

I'm a little disappointed. I'd heard about his debates so I assumed he must have something to say about the science. But it's all 2nd-grade logic puzzles and bible quotes. Damn you Kent, you could have at least been a little interesting. And take a damn civics class already. You know jack shit about your own government. "You get your rights from the government?" Who has the balls to make such an easily-debunked claim?

Chalkdust - 2009-04-30

Social security, drivers' licenses, centralized banking... for a global conspiracy so bent on total control of everything, they sure give you a lot of ways to opt out of it.
