Ice-T is surprisingly upbeat about the whole phenomenon.

"Talkin' about their problems with each other."
Aside from the obvious one, I suppose.

Forgot the stars.
And I've never seen a real live Juggalo (for which I'm thankful) to my knowledge. Though I've seen people LIKE Juggalos...

The only Juggalo I ever met was a 16 year old wigger who worked the night shift with me. Everyone hated him and he was dating a 31 year old East Indian woman who worked with us. This trailer puts a lot of things into perspective for me.

I have to hand it to them, they have certainly identified their audience and managed to profit from them like gangbusters.
I am also amazed at the respect they seem to have garnered from somewhat respectable peers in the rap community.
Finally, this is no less stupid than people following Phish.

On the one hand, yeah - these guys have made a shitload of money playing to what could charitably be called the lowest common denominator of suburbia. The entire "juggalo" thing is one of the most brilliant marketing concepts I've ever seen - apparently when you go to this thing, you trade your cash in at the gate for Juggalo Buxx (or whatever) that you use all weekend to buy concessions, merchandise, etc. And whatever's left over in your pocket? Oh dude, that's a souvenir all its own!
On the other hand, like I said, these kids are the bottom of the cultural barrel. If this makes them feel loved and wanted and respected despite all of society's evidence to the contrary, more power to them. Everyone needs somewhere to be, you know?
