A song Mylene Farmer wrote with Alizee (a recent talent contest winner) in mind. As perusing Farmer's early videos (same director, as well) will demonstrate, its not so much depravity as cunning media manipulation.
Alizee got off easy in the hands of Laurent Boutonnat. For Farmer's 3rd video "Libertine" (1986), the audience is teased with the first full frontal nudity by any major label artist. The music is, sadly, strictly of its time.
All of Farmer's vids, particularly from that era, are pretty remarkable mini-cinema. There really aren't (m)any anglophone music videos with the same ambition.
