What EVE is really like....

EVE had so much potential. It's size, it's economy, it's graphics. If they added ground warfare, made events like this something that actually matter for more reasons than a market flux and dropped the turn based to a actual freespace style dogfight game, then it could have been quite enjoyable. As it stands now, as Yahtzee and others have pointed out many times, it's turbotax in space. Such a damn bummer, because I would play an MMO dogfighter.

Oh, and this movie was neat for a machinima.

I'd pay to see the movie for .50 rather than spend the .95 or whatever per month to "play" the game

I would greatly enjoy EVE as a sci-fi series if they included real player content without comment like, these mighty starships look impressive but they are all suicide space pirates with names like "HMS ARSEHOLE" "buttsbuttsbuttsbutts" and "The Fag Wagon", who draw giant penises out of missile exhaust trails and force hostages to sing songs on Teamspeak before passing out drunk at the controls of their mothership and crashing. So pretty much a series about Goonfleet.

So, uh, did something like this actually happen in the flow-chart game with each side played by groups of drunk russians or what?
