ublbablblblblah-bullah SKATE BREAK

James Woods - 2009-05-17

Clearly, they should have broadened their target demographic beyond the police and Michael Jackson.

Tuan Jim - 2009-05-17

THE MAN on his SKATEBOARD won't be able to catch you!

kennydra - 2009-05-17

That looks safe...

Caminante Nocturno - 2009-05-17

I can't imagine how terrible it must've been for a child to get this for Christmas instead of a bike. Imagine the shame of having to ride around your neighborhood on a unicycle with training wheels.

Enjoy - 2009-05-17

True. Although I'd not turn one down today.

Incase anyone cares, the soundtrack is "The Race" by Yello, which next to their second most raped song for commercials and movies next to "Oh Yeah."

cognitivedissonance - 2009-05-17

This is pure, unadulterated, industrial grade 1989.

zatojones - 2009-05-18

you can feel communism collapsing in Russia while in Seattle a stoned Kurt Cobain screams into a mic

I don't know what I laughed at more, unintentional blackface, the fact that ollies hadn't been invented yet, a sudden Jackson cameo, or a crowd of day-glo spandex clad 80s cliches following around a nun.

This is just horrible. It's terrible. It's full-on awful.

grimcity - 2009-05-18

What do you mean ollies hadn't been invented yet? I was skating before this thing, when it was called the "Le Run," which offers equally horrible commercials, just in a different way. Same stupid contraption though.

simon666 - 2009-05-18

Yeah I'm pretty sure poeTV's favorite skater, Rodney Mullen, invented the ollie in the late 70s or early 80s.

simon666 - 2009-05-18

Eh, sorry he invented the 1 footed ollie. Anyway, the point is that the ollie has been around a long time.

Kumquatxop - 2009-06-14

uh guys I'm pretty sure the joke was that the cops with their inferior board-based skating technology were defeated by the fiendishly impassable obstacle of a curb.
