Caminante Nocturno - 2009-05-21

He was this close to crying.

revdrew - 2009-05-21

I think I could see his eyes glisten a little. Delicious.

The Faghorn - 2009-05-21

I think at the end the plaintiff was feeling kind of sorry for him.

Dinkin Flicka - 2009-05-21

She has a little smile right at the end. It's probably one of those hollow victories where you get what you want, but a man was DESTROYED for you to have it.

Testicles of Doom - 2009-05-23

But he wasn't much of a man apparently, so who cares?

Rape Van Winkle - 2009-06-15

Oh if I could make a lawyer cry like that.

Jeriko-1 - 2009-05-21

I felt bad for him at first but then I realized he's a lawyer so he doesn't have feelings like a real human being.

His law school buddies will never let him live this down.

Cleaner82 - 2009-05-21

My father is a lawyer, but I will let that slide as I have inherited his lawyerly lack of humanity and thus do not care about anything beyond my own life. It is a recessive gene but I guess I just got lucky.

Hay Belly - 2009-05-21

I thought I just watched a person lecture another person about respect for humans? Because she was angry that he was a jerk and wasn't learning anything from law school? Hmmmm.

Richmond - 2009-05-24

I'm a second-year law student myself, and I just have to say, can we get this lady to go on tour or something? So many students ask for this... so few ever get it.

On top of the obvious smackdownery, she's using lawyer code to list all the things she is that he's not: officer of the court, member of the Bar, litigator, professor. ("Respect this process" refers to the oath she's taken that he hasn't, for example.)

Also, from this angle, the funniest part is him telling her what standard practice is.

The Townleybomb - 2009-05-21

ooooooooh!

TeenerTot - 2009-05-21

JUDICIAL PWN-AGE!!

Ahem...sorry.

PornocracyNow - 2009-05-21

Wow i was expecting her to call him a bitch.

and i concur with the JILF tag, i'd hit that.

Comeuppance - 2009-05-21

I just filed my FAP forms in triplicate.

mouser - 2009-05-21

She's cute, yeah, but no, not JILF.

Would you really serve time to a bossy ILF like that?

Oh...

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2009-05-21

3 stars for the moment his lip begins to quiver, 2 stars for the JILF tag, which I hope to see more of.

sliggy - 2009-05-21

Awesome.

StanleyPain - 2009-05-21

This kind of thing happens a lot on the show, or at least used to. One time a lawyer actually made some off-hand remark about how women make lousy judges and lawyers and....well, I'm sure you can imagine how that went.

cognitivedissonance - 2009-05-22

One time, an orthodox Jew tried to pull the Jew card and say something along the lines of "Well, you're no Judge Judy..." and she FLIPPED OUT. There's got to be video of that somewhere.

Timothy A. Bear - 2009-05-21

He probably has 'appeared on the People's Court!' on his resume, with no additional info.

Species - 2009-05-21

Yeah baby!

Boxhead - 2009-05-21

5 for the background "ooooooooohhhh" at the end. Alas, no "you got owned, bitch."

zatojones - 2009-05-21

seriously needs a "DAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMNNNNN" tag

grimcity - 2009-05-21

Damn, she just broke that smug little prick down! All I see are stars!

mashedtater - 2009-05-21

of all the tv judges, she is by far my favorite. she has to be the fairest, with judge judy deciding on the spot if she likes you or not, and that black judge thinking every single person is high.

chumbucket - 2009-05-21

and she gets sexier when she gets mad like this

MongoMcMichael - 2009-05-21

I think the lawyer cancelled his weekly session with his dominatrix after that piece of action.

fluffy - 2009-05-21

Anyone who says they preferred Wapner is a damn fool.

Subfuscious - 2009-05-21

Law students usually have to wait until they're practicing for life to beat the cockiness out of them. Now he's years ahead of schedule!

Fantastic.

socialist_hentai - 2009-05-21

i suggest:

http://www.poetv.com/video.php?vid=48985

to link JILF tag

Sammy Barnathan - 2009-05-21

Keep up the good work, tuts.

Sammy Barnathan - 2009-05-22

toots.

*sigh*

Architeuthis Tux - 2009-05-21

The video was refusing to download, so while I waited I thought I'd go fishing for possible other JILF videos. I considered one on the Saudi judge who refused to grant a divorce to the kid who got married without knowing about it, then I was thinking of digging through LiveLeak.

But a miracle happened. The flittering internet fairies made this video finish downloading and now I just can't imagine any other JILF as much as this JILF.

Those aren't stars. They're hearts.

dancingshadow - 2009-05-21

Am I the only one who thinks the judge comes off as a bit of a child too? Especially with the silly mocking voice.

Doctor Arcane - 2009-05-21

Can she throw people in jail for contempt?

zatojones - 2009-05-21

no. her "courtroom" is not actually a courtroom and she is not actually a judge. legally she's just an arbitrator.

Lauritz Melchior - 2009-05-21

Ahhhhhh.

Camonk - 2009-05-21

He looks like the kind of douchebag that takes himself real serious. So this probably really hurt.

futurebot - 2009-05-22

This scene was definitely followed in real life by a Real Worldesque music montage of him walking in the rain, and then getting drunk on the sea shore, set to Simple Plan's "Welcome To My Life".

Leviathant - 2009-05-21

I do think she went a little over the line with the head-shake & mocking voice, but I'll overlook that given the overall machine-gun-like nature of that takedown. YEEEOW. Maybe I've watched too much Law & Order in the past (and not enough People's Court), but what kind of jackass thinks it's a good idea to continually interrupt the judge while they're speaking? Particularly if he's in law school. Was in law school. Haha.

memedumpster - 2009-05-21

I'm glad we take the placing of power into the hands of one person to make or break someone's life completely so seriously in this country. This is the two girls one cup of sensationalized justice.

PornocracyNow - 2009-05-21

yeah small claims courts really break apart families.

Cleaner82 - 2009-05-22

I still remember the time Judge Joe Brown sent that guy with the unmowed lawn to the electric chair. That was the best season finale that ever I saw.

Rape Van Winkle - 2009-06-15

I regret that I have no stars to give you, cleaner.

Ashenblade - 2009-09-06

I've got some for ya.

Stupid Lisa Garbage Face - 2009-05-21

Lawyers have feelings.. they just become expert at separating feelings from business. Many people can't, and they hate them for it. Gotta respect it.

futurebot - 2009-05-22

Ally McBeal, Season 3, Episode 8 - right?

oogaBooga - 2009-05-22

His mouth hanging open before he got in deep shit was a sure sign he's uppity and thinks he's going to be able to "get words in edgewise" with the queen bitch of judges. I dont even think ive seen a worse judge judy clip.

Frank Rizzo - 2009-05-22

1:39

wtf is wrong with her face?

Syd Midnight - 2009-05-22

Holy crap, that was like getting bitched at by my mom. She spanked him like she was his mother, and he'd have gone to jail for the night if it had been a real courtroom.

8bitwintermute - 2009-05-23

5 stars for calling someone childish, then mocking them in a silly voice and letting your boiling rage completely obliterate any reason in your ruling

8bitwintermute - 2009-05-23

not that the guy didn't deserve it, I just thought it was amusing

Geoff Marr - 2009-05-26

Topher Grace is a laywer?

FABIO - 2009-06-08

How many milliseconds did it take for everyone's douchbag alarm to go off?

Rape Van Winkle - 2009-06-15

My older brother is a lawyer.

I want to give Judge Milian a hug right now, and eat her pussy forever.

ebola - 2009-07-17

Wow. I was... wow.

kingofthenothing - 2009-07-24

what does that have to do with your brother being a lawyer?

Rape Van Winkle - 2011-02-28

She reduced a douchebag nearly to tears.

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2014-05-21

Watching this again, I completely get it. In court, you don't say "That's your opinion" to the judge. Not to ANY judge, even a TV judge. It's literally the worst thing you can say, because it undermines the whole process. It's not necessarily a personal thing, but if the judge wants to make it a personal thing, she can.

BornAgainCannibal - 2009-06-20

Sometimes you gotta talk to them with the daddy voice and keep the pimp hand ready. In this case, she kept it ready on the gavel and it was all kinds of wonderful.

Slagathor - 2009-09-03

So she was on the bench for two years? Appointed by Jeb? Big deal. I'd like to know precisely what the legal matter was being discussed. Dimes to donuts the law student was correct, and her behavior certainly would have resulted in an immediate appeal.

Gwago - 2009-09-12

Wow. HADOUUUUKEN!!

Wish we could have seen his final comments when he walks out of the courtroom, but this will have to do.

klingerbgoode - 2009-12-18

Don't go there!

Repomancer - 2011-02-01

KA-PWEENG!

John Holmes Motherfucker - 2012-05-15

This is one of those rare cases when mouthing off to the judge turned out to be a bad idea.
