Okay then, does anyone remember reading that Tiamat was a five-headed dragon? My recollection is that the references were lean on description -- she was a dragon but that's all they said -- and we probably have Gary Gygax to thank for the five heads.

Yes in the D&D world Tiamat was made to be a dragon, but traditionally Tiamat was an insidious dark ocean in a world without light. Marduk, being the God of Babylon, brought light to the world and destroyed Tiamat. Though as I recall the struggle was eternal. Tiamat and Marduk are always in conflict.

You can kind of see how all that shit got its way into the Bible.
