5 stars for absolute evil.

Hooker - 2009-06-02

THE LEFT IS EXPLOITING THE EVENT! IT'S A MEDIA SENSATION!

What a serious, hardcore douchebag.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2009-06-02

Don't forget hypocritical!

Lauritz Melchior - 2009-06-02

Don't get me wrong, O'Reilly is a grade-A asshole, but that's to be expected at any time. We've already had a couple of O'Reilly clips up in the past couple of days. To pass muster it should be exceptional. This one has nothing to make it stand out beyond the awful man, himself.

Toenails - 2009-06-02

I kindly ask you to take this back.

O'Reilly's reaction to the George Tiller murder was the one thing I was salivating for the first time I heard of the head-shot. This shit is history in the making and should be respected as such!!!

On the other hand, yeah he is a complete and utter tool. Let's see what Sean Hannity has to say about the matter!

Toenails - 2009-06-02

Dear Albuquerque Halsey,

Please except my Golden Internet Award for O'Reilly's reaction to Tiller's murder and his persecution complex.

Their spin on this tragedy almost makes it worthwhile.

Okay, so it doesn't even come close, but STILL good game.

Caminante Nocturno - 2009-06-02

So many people got so defensive over this, and they started before anyone even said anything to our about them.

theSnake - 2009-06-02

Sometimes I wish the old strawman argument my detractors in the Dawkins/Maher video thread were pushing was actually true, and that we on the left had people that were as terrible and ignorant and dangerous as the Christian fanatics on the Right have.

But alas, BillO is still alive and remains to be assassinated by the fictional liberal version of Scott Roeder.

Are you still here Dinkin Flicka or shall we continue the fagdance anew?

I will accept your silence as an acceptance of defeat.

Dinkin Flicka - 2009-06-02

Do

Hooker - 2009-06-02

There's nobody off the top of my head that's as militant and overbearing as O'Reilly (Olbermann comes closest), but there's nobody on the right as condescending as Bill Maher. The result is the same in both cases, though: completely change the argument to terms that favour their positions and ridicule the opponent.

Dinkin Flicka - 2009-06-02

I think the request of me is to find someone who will blow O'Reilly's head off.

You gotta understand: I'd do it myself, but this Foucault paper is due tomorrow.

theSnake - 2009-06-02

The result is the same?????????? A fucking man is dead, the result is most definitely not the same in the most extreme way possible.

Oh, and a Foucault paper? Nice bro, hows that first year Lit class coming bro? Dorm food sucks doesn't it? Being away from your boyfriend is hard but you guys are in love and will make it work long distance! What are you going to major in?

Charles - 2009-06-02

Wow, O'Reilly really IS an asshole, who knew? But there's no question that assholatry exists on both sides of the political spectrum. And I'm including murderers in the "asshole" category. Now make no mistakes, I'm not talking about abortion doctors, but about people who bomb federal buildings out of libertarian sentiment. McVeigh, anyone?
O'Reilly is a dick, but TheSnake, as much as it irks me sometimes to agree with Mr. Flicka, I must do just that. You are a walking example of far-left assholatry (albeit a more mild one than Timothy). That is, assuming you do walk, and don't just sit around on the compy all week watching Poe and judging the other users on their coursework.
Maybe I'm a left-wing asshole as well. Maybe. But at least I can PRETEND to see both sides of an issue (e.g. the Dawkins/Maher vid) Sometimes, sitting on or close to the fence is actually the correct thing to do.

Charles - 2009-06-02

Oh yeah, Dink is a jackass too, but possibly a more sensible one

Dinkin Flicka - 2009-06-02

"Humanity does not gradually progress from combat to combat until it arrives at universal reciprocity, where the rule of law finally replaces warfare; humanity installs each of its violences in a system of rules and thus proceeds from domination to domination."

-Michel Foucault

PS. Not in first year lit, I don't think anyone ever assigns Foucault there anyway; not in dorms, and the food wasn't bad when I was, don't have a boyfriend, long distance or otherwise; majoring in philosophy and psychology.

socialist_hentai - 2009-06-02

YOU'RE WRONG!

glenn - 2009-06-02

Only celebrities should make over a million dollars per year.

Charles - 2009-06-03

maybe the educators are who we should be pouring our money into, instead of the largely ignorant cultural elite. only a thought.

Rudy - 2009-06-02

Between this and that Muslim dude shooting at army recruiters in Arkansas, it's going to be an interesting week.

HoboTech - 2009-06-02

I'm waiting for the killer to list Bill as a personal hero and the man who inspired him to murder.

fluffy - 2014-08-02

Does O'Reilly even say anything anymore except how much the mean ol' Liberal media is when talking about him?
