This isn't really stand-up; it's part of a motivational speaking seminar. Different audience, different expectations.

They used to bring these people in to speak at my high school. He still blows, but I think he's using these more as "memorable demonstration visual aids" than as jokes he would try out at the Improv.

I'll have to give him this: he seems pretty confident.
