Here why this isn't the best episode of QI:

They have a particle physicist on the show who, not surprisingly, talks about particle physicists. Immediately, the comedians (Sean Locke in particular) start talking over him, because they become terrified when the camera isn't on them.

So it doesn't take long for the thing to just turn into "HURR HURR U KNOW STUFF U FAGOT", despite the fact that the entire fucking show's premise is that you might learn some (quite) interesting little facts you can take with you.

I like this show, but I hate most of the usual panelists.

See I thought they were just bored because he was recapping such basic particle physics. "Yes, yes, four fundamental forces, gravity is the odd one out... the show is called Quite Interesting, not stuff we all did in grade 10".

But I'm rather more charitable.

Alan Davis and Sean Locke OFTEN make fun of themselves for not being terribly book smart, in almost every episode they're in. This gives Stephen a chance to admonish them like a grumpy headmaster in almost every show. It's practically a running gag, so if you've somehow managed to miss that, I fear you're the one who needs to put aside the "hur-hur" and figure out what exactly you're watching.

It's a stupid premise but I love that stupid fucking show for some reason.

I dig Mitchell's radio show, "The Unbelievable Truth."

I'm also addicted to "The News Quiz," "Just a Minute," and "Have I Got News for You."

I need a radio that gets the BBC here in the states 24/7, and not just the BBC World Service after midnight on my local NPR station.
