I notice that their idea of "Internet" is usenet alt newsgroups (they were like forums we have today).
The designers of the Internet envisioned a bold new world were ideas, no matter how dangerous, could be discussed without fear or restrictions to freedom of speech. Instead we got 4chan lol cats and spam telling us how to make our dicks bigger.
