I find it hugely ironic that a song about the value of life and calling to help the less fortunate is being co-oped and turned into a poorly done hate-song about denouncing entire nations for not persecuting minorities. By "Christians".

They recently protested outside of my parents' Catholic church in Seattle. It is a liberal Catholic church that does crazy things like treat gays like human beings. All the queers from the neighborhood showed up in costumes and leather and what not to fuck with them, but the guys inside the cathedral, the actual gay Catholics, were rightfully scared shitless.

I'm just amazed nobody had sniped this guy yet.

What I can never understand is: if God hates everyone, and there's nothing we can do to make him actually LIKE us, only hate us slightly less, and we're going to hell anyway, why even bother with the whole fanatical worship thing? Westboro's god sounds like such a cock I don't understand what they see in him.

There have been some good documentaries on these people. Check out the one by Louis Theroux (BBC) called The Most Hated Family in America. I think it is on POE TV. If not google it and you will find it somewhere out there. I saw it somewhere on the net for free ( i am pretty sure here on POE).
