I think it's enjoying itself. I wouldn't have guess hedgehogs were that buoyant. Also, when its ears are below water it doesn't have to listen to them, so it's in bliss.

So, I'm assuming you ladies cannot have children of your own; perhaps you're past your time, or perhaps some disease has turned your womb to cement.
But, I think it's really special how you carry on with life regardless, showering such a strange, even terrible creature with the surplus stockpiles of estrogen enhanced motherly affection, normally reserved for a child.
