The stimulus included a one time equipment depreciation and one time loss-relief credit. 2. No one is saying anything about giving money to CEOs, they are arguing to lower the maximum tax rate at which a company's income can be taxed.

They herald the benefits of tax cuts for corporate income, and ignore or marginalize the benefits of tax cuts for those making under 0,000. The second one is an issue of characterization, as the difference between saying a policy results in giving money to CEOs, as opposed to lowering their corporate tax rate, seems nitpicky to me. Certainly neither is "grossly mishandling the facts".

What i never understand about about these fox news talking heads is: are they actually saying the government should not spend money or get involved in anything on the home front? From what i usually gather they want the the government to be just the military, used to fuck with other countries and that's all. Why the fuck dose the state take in tax? I mean you want low taxes, you don't want free health care, you don't want the state to give you anything or to give anything to the state... then why the fuck have a state in the first place?

It would have been nice if someone had turned it around and asked if banks and corporations want Corporate Welfare, and why they shouldn't get bailouts because it only encourages dependency.
This biggest fallacy is "doesn't want to be on assistance" = "doesn't want assistance". That's the lowest most bullshit lie they say with a straight face. Someone who doesn't want to be hanging off a parachute is probably still very grateful for the parachute they are hanging off of.
Does that mean banks and corporations don't want the bailout because they'd rather have profits? So lets give their bailout to the poor and let it trickle up in retail and debt payment.
