I give people who perform in subways and on streets the biggest denomination I have with me. They have a skill, and they're practicing it, and goddamnit they're doing something they probably love. If that's not reason enough to give a 20 I don't know what is.

They recently prohibited street performers in Swedens second largest city, Göteborg. People working there got rather tired of musicans with a limited arsenal of songs, playing the same songs over and over. This fellow is pretty cool though, twice a year that is.

I want to go back to Detroit now and teach all the wandering crackheads who want money for nothing to be one-man-bands.

This man is the antithesis to those hipster buskers from that other video.
He is all that is right with street performers.

CONTEXT: the song this guy's singing is called "Budjav Lebac." It's about how he's so poor, he only has moldy bread to eat and how horribly sad he is and how envious of his neighbors he is, etc. The original version walks a really thin line between depressing as fuck and hilarious, just because it's SO tragic. And the whole "yum yum yum" thing? He's saying:
Hey, guess what's for dinner?
Moldy bread, moldy bread.
Yum yum yum!
I prefer this guy's version.
