I've only met a couple of people that have taken occult study seriously enough for me to see it as anything beyond a "my parents don't like it and it makes me feel better about myself" trend. These people didn't think they can fly, curse people or summon spirits and tend to avoid wiccans whose first occult experience was Harry Potter.

The other hundred or so occult "students" I've met have had astral battles in dragon forms, can summon demons/angels and make them do their bidding and live in a magical world of escapism that think that vampires, faeries and werewolves are real.

I suppose my point is that this wizard rock is cool by me, because it's harmless fun (and because my opinion matters SO much). It's the people who go on about having "power" and look down on "normal" people that worry me since they promote this as something more than just fun. Because you know what that leads to?

" It's the people who go on about having "power" and look down on "normal" people that worry me since they promote this as something more than just fun. "

I could be wrong, having never actually read a Harry Potter book, but wasn't that a major point of the books, or at least discussed in passing, that it was a dick move for wizard people to look down on the non-wizard people?

"in before"? This is not 4chan.

Here's something they can download quickly to ease all those concerns from now on.

I had no idea that was a 4chan thing.
But you did.
Explain why.

I guess I'll watch pretty much anything.

The wizard rock crap is unbearable, but the presence of Brad Neely and that cunty English woman redeem it somewhat.

kingarthur - 2009-07-22

Not being a fan of Harry Potter, I still must admit that those kids and the "Harry and The Potters" guys kinda rule.

Scurrie - 2009-07-22

I only watched the small part of Brad Neely reading from Wizard People, and that is what I love.

sliggy - 2009-07-22

I didn't know it was possible for me to love Brad Neely any more than I already did.
