I am going to repost a comment I made on youtube because I fucked it up over there:

Don't think of these abortions as free, or expensive (I'm not sure you've made your mind up what they will be) - think of them as an investment. An investment in a future free of laughing baby videos, yet rich in the blabbering of angry right-wing cocksuckers.

Yeah, it wasn't that great a comment but fuck it.

As someone who usually never needs healthcare I can honestly say our system is not perfect and could use a lot of help.

I'm fully insured (or so I'm told) but still had to make sure my hospital/insurance would cover me breaking my foot today. I spent an hour looking for places to go or walk-ins that would jibe with my health insurance from their online list of doctors and ended up going to the ER. I wasted a full hour just because I knew my insurance could totally screw me over if I wasn't aware of what was going on. That was an hour of some pain, I can tell you.

Nevertheless, I had to wait twice as long with my foot in agony so that the insurance men could do all the proper paperwork.

And I still don't know if everything will be covered or not - because I either will have to wait for the bill (if any) to come back or call and hassle my insurance to tell me what's going on.

Perfect health care system, my ass.

I actually miss the days when I had no health insurance. If accidents or diseases came up I would just go visit the free clinic, talk to my brother (a doctor) and sister (a nurse), or self medicate. Now that I'm a productive employee of the state of Kansas, I actually have to go through bullshit like that for the smallest of infractions.

And working with kids give you the weirdest diseases that you have to go to the doctor and get checked out if you want to return to work.

So sorry about your foot. When I crushed my big toe back in the days before I had health insurance, I ended up just soaking it for a week in Epsom Salt.

At least you have sisters who are helpful, my father an experienced doctor gives me borderline ridiculous advice in medical issues. Like jogging outside or going on a mountain while having a cold, or going on mountain sleep deprived and with an empty stomach. God I despise his medical advice.

You've got to keep in mind that the vast majority of people going for free abortions will be black though

Desidiosus - 2009-07-31

Free abortions for some, little American flags for others!

Camonk - 2009-07-31

Dammit. You stole my joke, you turd of a person.

spikestoyiu - 2009-07-31

It was never really YOUR joke, was it?

Toenails - 2009-07-31

What the fuck is Homo's insurance???

Riskbreaker - 2009-07-31

I was wondering the same thing.

oddeye - 2009-07-31

Why wouldn't it pay for abortions?

socialist_hentai - 2009-07-31

"Brace yourself, FREE ABORTIONS!"

... so what? It's not like they're mandatory. If it's free to get pregnant it should be free to get un-pregnant.

Rum Revenge - 2009-07-31

All my stars for this comment.

SixDigitDebt - 2009-07-31

I'd pay for abortions. Where's the problem?

RockBolt - 2009-07-31

I seriously want to know what awesome insurance these people have that they are so happy with. I have supposedly pretty comparatively good insurance from my job and its still a bureaucratic nightmare if a I want so much as a flu shot

Xenocide - 2009-07-31

Hardly anyone in this country likes their insurance. It's just that some people hate Obama so much they'd rather keep things broken than let him be the one who fixes them.

Others are just generally scared, like the old lady who asked Obama if the government was really going to come to her house and ask her how she wanted to die.

Camonk - 2009-07-31

And the Republicans, anybody else who's supported by insurance companies, have to keep people scared. The last poll I saw said something like 66% of people supported universal health care. Scare tactics worked to keep Bush in the White House; they might just work to keep insurance companies in cushy, horribly evil work.

phalsebob - 2009-07-31

It certainly is wisest to wait until you are catastrophically ill before seeing a doctor.

TeenerTot - 2009-07-31

All I've got is "catastrophic" insurance. It's the best I can afford.

TeenerTot - 2009-07-31

Why does this douche care? It's not like he's ever gonna need one.

rev.dinosaur - 2009-07-31

Right, but you'd be mad too if you paid for something a couple of times and then all of a sudden it became free.

Horsecock Johnson, M.D. - 2009-07-31

have some stars, Rev. Dinosaur. I guess they're for the video too, but mostly they're for your truth.

Princess v2.1 - 2009-07-31

ABORTIONS FOR SOME, MINATURE AMERICAN FLAGS FOR OTHERS

Toenails - 2009-07-31

Dammit. You stole Camonk's joke, you turd of a person.

Cleaner82 - 2009-07-31

Free abor-- oh.

spikestoyiu - 2009-07-31

But they'd freely be aborting the people that people like this hate most. So what's the problem?

StanleyPain - 2009-07-31

AND GET THIS...HERE'S THE REAL KICKER...ARE YOU READY FOR THIS??? READY????

OBAMA WILL BE THE ONE PERFORMING THE FREE ABORTIONS!!!!!

theSnake - 2009-07-31

hahahaha

halon - 2009-07-31

yeah, 100 years before modern medicine and health plans, having leeches attached to your spine was way cheaper than MRIs are today. THANKS, YOU DISGUSTING COMMUNISTS.
