I'm positive I saw this before, but probably not on here since I can't find it. I also remember the voiceover not being so irritating the last time. OH WELL.

I posted the designers' website in Art (oddly, not the first time I've linked to creative mouse traps there.)

I'm not entirely sure how New Scientist apparently mistook these for functioning objects.

...and I cannot find either post in there. They're somewhere, though, probably in Off Topic.

No I mean I saw this like a year ago. Or is that the time period you were talking about?

And yeah there is a horrible amount of journalism these days which is based on "functional concepts" being reported as actual working devices. It's shit like that why I stopped reading the Make blog.

"Interesting machine. What powers it?"

"KILLING."

Now I can say I've seen how the extinction of humans began. The Terminator would have been much more horrifying if it would have been shooting AND eating people.

Aaaagh--screenplay dibs, screenplay dibs! I call MrBuddy's idea for my own! Hear that rich movie executives? Pay me for this, ME!

Nobody heeded my warnings.
I told them that the robots would come to feast upon our blood.
They never listened, the fools.

Perpetual killing machines. Take THAT, second law of thermodynamics!
