I knew Gibby's dad ran one of these, but I didn't realize it was Peppermint Park. I had one or two VHS tapes of this show, I hope I still have them!

Please tell me this was part of a haunting children's TV show.

Yeah, I have this episode and I think one other. It was a regional saturday morning show that promoted the eppermint Park zoo/theme aprk/waterpark thing Gibby's dad owned. This is from the episode "the story lady," and the whole thing's jsut cheap and creepy enough that it was pretty good even before I knew it had Gibby's dad in it.

You could probably earn some internet bonus points by uploading that, it looks fascinatingly weird.

Old_Zircon - 2009-08-23

If I still have it. all my VHS is packed until I move in a week, but after that I'll see if I can produce it. I've got a whole bunch of stuff that should be uploaded, now that I'm single I have the time to do it.

This is definitely the best part, though.

I'm sorry to be a nitpick/party crasher, but Gibby Haynes' dad did a different show called "Peppermint Place".

This is Peppermint Park, which allegedly came bursting forth from the distended rectum of Hell's bowels. Same creepiness, different show.

I feel really bad now, but the truth had to come out.

I have that same VHS, though. Yes, it is really wretched. No Jerry Haynes though.

That makes sense to me, because I really thought this Peppermint Park show was from San Diego. I vaguely remember them flashing the park's address at the end. I was shocked by the news that Gerry Haynes was involved with this, especially since my ex girlfriend grew up not too far from Peppermint Place (the name of which I'd forgotten) and yet int all the years we were together I never once made the connection.

Peppermint Park is still definitely worth transferring, though. As is Gigglesnort Hotel.

So you're saying the guy that sang songs for Peppermint Park sounds just like Gibby Haynes' dad of Peppermint Place? So what about the Rosicrucians, how were they involved?

King of Balls - 2009-08-23

Larry David? Is that you?

It takes a special kind of puppeteer to be unable to sync opening and closing their hands to recorded dialogue.
