Guys, I was away for a while, but for a good reason. Our university class made an excursion/field trip to Wisconsin and Minnesota. We visited Madison, Eau Claire and Minneapolis, plus some rural areas. Overall, I very much enjoyed America, though some cultural aspects were quite overwhelming for a European - we aren't accustomed to eating potato chips for dinner, for example.

manfred - 2009-08-26 I'm refering to crisps. If you ordered a nice veggie wrap, for example, the side dish would be cheese-covered crisps or something else equally disgusting. We ate in cheap bars and restaurants though (every meal was under ).
Also, Mall of America was almost unbearable.
