Ugh. Way to make an already boring story more so.

Johnny Madhouse - 2009-09-05

I don't know what the fuck is wrong with you.

Knuckles - 2009-09-05

Fuck you in the ears for not liking this, and fuck you in the ears twice for not liking the source material, you goddamn philistine

Toenails - 2009-09-05

Listen guys, I tried. I really did. But the story was about a giant roach that lived in his bedroom.

If the message was any deeper than that, then I must have missed it around the fourth time he hid under the couch.

revdrew - 2009-09-05

I bet you miss the point of a lot of things.

DON'T YOU.

Camonk - 2009-09-05

This isn't great at all, but The Metamorphosis definitely IS. Two extra stars for the original short story.

Also, my Chinese students got the points of this story (there are many) and so there is no reason not to get something out of it.

Toenails - 2009-09-05

Fine ya got me. I missed the point.

Unless of course the point of the story was to be boring, then I totally got it.

Give me a break. So I thought Metamorphosis was dreck. Big deal, I liked "The 5 people you Meet in Heaven" and I would consider that a way worse literary crime.

Wait until you have a stroke, then you'll get it

Udderdude - 2009-09-05

meh.

Rape Van Winkle - 2009-09-05

Wheres tha fucken violin?

These cunts never read Metamorphosis.

MrBuddy - 2009-09-05

Sorry you didn't like it Toenails, I thought it was hysterical. I especially liked how they used AT&T Natural Voices.

I get the feeling Franz Kafka was gay or something. All of the Kafka stories I've read are about how someone finds out something about the main character, he's shunned and then he dies.

Camonk - 2009-09-05

There's tons of reasons to be alienated besides being gay.

Jeff Fries - 2009-09-06

It has actually been argued that Kafka's work shows a secret fear of being raped by his father

Desidiosus - 2009-09-06

That's the best twist ending I've seen in years.
