Sega: just stop making games for furries, that's about it.

Hodge - 2009-09-11

Yes, has anyone ever noticed that once the furverts get fixated on a game series, the quality of those games suddenly goes through a downward spiral.

Five stars just for 00:41.

A noble man mourns his fallen enemies.

ALSO: Thank you for having the balls to compare Sonic to Poochie.

Is mario really such a "cool" or great designed character? For me at least he lost any charm he could had once he made the jump to 3d. In 2d he looks deformed and, well, kind of funny, the last thing i think when i see any 2d Mario is of an italian plumber. In a similar way, Sonic on 2d looks way better than on 3d.

cognitivedissonance - 2009-09-11

You clearly have never played a Paper Mario title.

Riskbreaker - 2009-09-11

I had, and it bored me.

pastorofmuppets - 2009-09-11

You can read about why Mario looks the way he does, the short version is that you can only do so much with like 4 pixels and have it look remotely human. The backstory came later.

5 for watching someone completely waste their life in real time.

Sputum - 2009-09-11

You can really hear the fat in this guys voice.

I don't really like admitting it, but I liked Sonic Adventure. I even sort of got into the story (shut up, I was in like 8th grade).

Riskbreaker - 2009-09-11

The first one is not bad, sure, the camera can suck and it has Big the cat and some dumb robot. It's hardly a flawless game but it felt like Sega was sort of going in a good track with the 3d games after making crap like Sonic R.

Of course, then they made SA2 with Shadow and other awful character. Put more "story" and things were just never the same.

THE HARDEST TRUTH OF ALL

Yeah, he said it!

Also, I am jonesing for Quailman: Beyond.

sosage - 2009-09-11

It turned into an embarrassing fanzine-ish game design pitch at part 2.

ProfessorChaos - 2009-09-11

I'm honestly surprised this made it passed the hopper, and even more surprised it's getting 5 starred. Ah well. Note: I was trying to figure out multi-part submissions - which is why there's a 3rd part to the video that's empty. The second part is Mr. Overthinker's suggestions of what the franchise needs to do to stop sucking.

Hooker - 2009-09-11

HATED IT!

socialist_hentai - 2009-09-11

LOVED IT!

dbtng - 2009-09-11

I'm somewhat embarrassed to admit that I watched most of this.

Sudan no1 - 2009-09-11

At least he's honest about being a big fat dweeb, I respect him for that.

Nikon - 2009-09-11

I enjoyed it. Thank you for posting this.

YakooMarkTwo - 2009-09-11

Bah, talk faster like that Zero Punctuation fella.

But I'll throw a few stars in for really thinking this out.

Portaxx - 2009-09-11

I agreed with most of his criticisms and his ideas for new game mechanics could actually be pretty fun, but he lost me the moment he said that the writers should study that godawful Sonic cartoon. Also "change his name back to Robotnik for America and Europe"? Who cares?

FABIO - 2009-09-11

To anyone who complained that Yahtzee doesn't take SERIOUS looks at game reviewing, you got your wish.

Keefu - 2009-09-12

I voted this up because a 30 minute critique of the Sonic the Hedgehog series is so incredibly nerd that it is unto building an actual Tower of Beardalyon to the heavens.
