The sound effect from the intro is some sort of stock thing- I'm pretty sure I've heard it on Tim and Eric or something. As for the actual speed, they tell us the cat ran it in 6.130 seconds, but they never said what distance it was running.

Or for the prey to make a sharp 90 degree turn.. I've seen it on nature shows and the result isn't pretty.
