Two stars because this is the first Maru video I didn't bother watching all the way through.

Spoiler: he beats the shit out of and chews on a toy filled with catnip. Consequently, that's pretty much the whole plot.

he got real tired of all that strenuous rolling at the end.

The ending is cute.

Another boring flim du Maru is the one where he goes outside for the first time (in a little harness) and doesn't quite know if it's okay to walk on grass. He sorta tentatively puts his paw out to see how it feels. The first steps are very slow, then he sees a bug or something and his kitty instincts kick in.

I'm giving an extra star because this video made me think of that one.

It's so strange that I expect better of Maru's performance. He's just an animal, and yet, I feel as though he's capable of phoning it in.

Still! I can't bring myself to 4-star a Maru video, so gentlemen --- this calls for an ABSTENTION! God save the Queen!

This is the first Maru video I haven't given 5-stars to. I was really hoping he'd get all coked up, but he didn't.

He's still awesome.
