I saw Cosmos when it first aired when I was 6 or thereabouts, at my parents friends' house. They partied in the basement, and I sat upstairs with chips and pop alone with Mr. Sagan and billions of stars. I stayed up waaay past my bedtime, and I made it abundantly clear to my parents that I was going to watch every episode of this, bedtime be damned.
