Caminante Nocturno - 2009-09-27

I feel good knowing that the United States military can keep a dog and a mannequin from breaking into their bases, but not a little girl.

bopeton - 2009-09-27

Not that interesting; this is pretty much how I remember Inspector Gadget anyway.

Bonsai Forest - 2009-09-27

Yeah, that's how I remember this show too. Gadget was just kinda "there" and in the background.

Camonk - 2009-09-27

"I'll have the biggest, most modern airforce in the world! Then I'll use it to... COMMIT SOME CRIMES!"
That's thinking small, Claw.

Xenocide - 2009-09-27

I'm immune to this sort of logic ever since last week, when I saw the Music Meister hypnotize the entire human race into robbing grocery stores for him.

MightierThanTheSword - 2009-09-27

Surely you don't expect anyone to sit through all of this.

KnowFuture - 2009-09-27

NEWSFLASH!! If you remove the subject from a narrative, you'll probably have something that doesn't make sense anymore!

Bonsai Forest - 2009-09-27

But it does actually make sense. That's the point of the video. Gadget's hardly the subject.

jreid - 2009-09-27

Which is why this video is boringly stating the obvious.

Xenocide - 2009-09-27

I always knew that Penny solved all the cases, but I had no idea how amazingly irrelevant Gadget is. Too bad the show is so less amusing without him.

Caminante Nocturno - 2009-09-27

What I found so strange is that this person chose to use one of the two or three episodes where Penny doesn't get tied up. He's clearly not a fan of the show.

EvilHomer - 2009-09-27

Five stars for Caminante saying it first.

And for letting me know not to bother watching the clip.

FABIO - 2009-09-27

Drugs AND video games! The entire array of 80s villains are here.

Mildly interesting concept.

fluffy - 2009-09-27

This makes it easy to pretend that "Uncle Gadget" was just a figment of Penny's imagination all along.

Rum Revenge - 2009-09-28

Fascinating.

Maybe it's because I'm drunk, but this does bring up interesting questions about how much exposition you really need for a narrative. Clearly, large sections of the storyline are missing, yet the plot and action comes through largely intact.

Time Travel Mishap - 2009-09-28

You know if Dr. claw would stop building huge elaborate bases in hard to get to locations he could probably afford his own air force.

Also I'm starting to wonder if he really has a PhD.

fluffy - 2009-09-28

It's an honorary degree from a liberal arts school.

cognitivedissonance - 2009-09-28

I'm going to just go on ahead and admit that this is my favorite television show of all time, and I wouldn't have ever learned to draw had it not been around.

Fuck you.

MongoMcMichael - 2009-09-28

Without Inspector Gadget, the only sounds I hear are from the devotees of WWOEC and PALCOMIX fapping furiously.

ztc - 2009-09-28

Hey everybody, don't do what I just did and Google WWOEC and PALCOMIX.

Tuan Jim - 2009-09-28

I take it Mongo's post ties in with Caminante's?

zatojones - 2009-09-28

Claw sounds almost exactly like Nathan Explosion

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2009-09-28

When I was six I wanted Penny's computer book so bad, but I was told they didn't exist.

Goofy Gorilla - 2009-09-28

When I was a kid I had this weird feeling that every cartoon had the same voices. Now I know that they did and it isn't really a mystery.
