It probably wasn't as bad as it looks at first glance. Since the exact same tile is on 2 sides of that little carpeted area odds are the carpet was just put down over the tile there too. Maybe they were already planing to tear up the carpet in that area.


And the Tile looks to be some kind of smooth stone. I have, of course, never had to clean up tire tracks from indoor tile but it would probably come up pretty easy with a good scratch pad and some orange clean or something. The hardest clean up part of this was probably getting the smell of burnt rubber out of the room.


Of course i am giving these people way to much credit. odds are the room still looks exactly the same and they haven't even bothered to vacuum up all the little bits of carpet and rubber that were thrown around.

Having a "im throwing away my carpet tomorrow" party actually sounds like fun
