Why how dare you regulate industry when it affects my income. Quickly, scare the idiots into action.

Smellvin - 2009-10-12

My guess is that Canadians/Russians are behind this. They're trying to get more arable non-useless land.

SolRo - 2009-10-12

Glad I kept my dual citizenship.

think Ill go buy a couple million acres of siberia for $.001 an acre

will pass on my banana farm to my grandkids.

socialist_hentai - 2009-10-12

how will it cost jobs exactly?

Big Beef Burritos Supreme - 2009-10-12

Because domestic regulation makes it harder to compete on cost with imports or something...apparently.

And the idea of losing jobs scares the crap out of the voters.

Look, don't argue with the video. CO2 is essential for life, is entirely natural, global warming is only a theory, and they just told you that you'd be foreclosed within a week of this law being passed.

Rudy - 2009-10-13

Where I'm from almost half the population currently works at the CO2 Producement Plant. They get paid nine dollars an hour to exhale.

IrishWhiskey - 2009-10-12

This is a tactic that would never have occurred to me.

"CO2 is so minuscule, it has no impact on our climate. Anyone who claims otherwise is just trying to put spotted owls before people.

Also, CO2 has a big impact on the climate, and everyone knows that massive amounts of car exhaust and factory smoke are the only way to save the spotted owls."

Big Beef Burritos Supreme - 2009-10-12

I once made a biodome filled with owls and trees and monkeys on little scooters with lawnmower engines.

Yeah, it kind of got smoggy and then everything died.

Lindner - 2009-10-12

... that is a reality show I would pay to see.

charmlessman - 2009-10-12

Yeah, CO2 is no more a pollutant than salt is poison.
But as with salt, too much of it is bad.
They make it sound as if there's not enough CO2 to support allt he plants on earth, and if only we could get MORE into the atmosphere, we'd be able to grow more plants!

Morons.

pastorofmuppets - 2009-10-12

I get the feeling that they expect their audience to see global warming as happening on the scale of a few months. I don't know why.

IrishWhiskey - 2009-10-12

Because the only people this ad would work on, are the "If global warming is real, then why is it cold today?" crowd.

memedumpster - 2009-10-12

Not enough room in hell.
