Animation!

I saw Heavy Metal when I was 8 years old. I can't even begin to tell you the fucking nightmares it gave me, this part in particular.

Whoa.

The only good part of the movie.

Brutal.

This movie and every back issue of Cheval Noir was my experience with comics as a kid. Imagine my surprise when discovering this wasn't how every kid thought of the funny papers.

Favorite part of the film.

I just thought about that stupid Amazing Stories short where the plane grows a cartoon wheel and everyone was saved. Figured I need to come back here and favorite this.

If I remember right, this segment really killed the reaction for the one after it when I saw it as a teenager. Everyone was still scared shitless.

Bomber pilots make great zombies!

Oh, so that's where the Snowdens of yesteryear are.

Best sequence and song in the movie.

The soundtrack for this "Heavy Metal" movie included songs by Donald Fagen, Journey, and Stevie Nicks; some real whiplash incuding tunes. (and I like Donald Fagen, but just sayin')
