24 hours news outlets, really, should not be so presumptuous as to mock things that aren't 24 hours news outlets.

It's to the point now that you can't actually get news from the television anymore. You can get it faster and more reliably from the Internet, which is enough of an indictment, but you can also avoid getting all the crap you don't want, like weeks of Michael Jackson's death.
