Do you think he turned all of his stuff on just for the video?

I don't. I think he has all of that shit on all of the time. I think it helps drown out the voices in his head that tell him he made the wrong choice.

He probably sobs loudly when there's a power outage.

boner - 2009-10-29

Every single thing we're thinking, he avoids talking about.

Japanese bathtub full of tears ;_;

kiint - 2009-10-29

I BURIED THEM IN THE CABINETS

infinite zest - 2009-10-29

This is depressing. Then again I have a professional-grade metal DDR platform..

As long as you're stable and not driving away your wife and kids, you're good.

BTW. Grandma's Boy was the most unfunny thing I've seen in a long time. Don't listen to this man.

Toenails - 2009-10-29

@ sosage

You are being way unkind. It is a great movie you can watch if you have a couple of bro-friends. Benchwarmers was also pretty good at that also.

Seriously, it's like a chick-flick for douchebags. A "dick-flick" perhaps?

infinite zest - 2009-10-29

actually my neighbor has six working pinball machines. Between the two of us we basically have an arcade, and neither of our wives seems to have any problem with it. I think he just married a bitch

pastorofmuppets - 2009-10-30

Yeah, Linda Cardellini and weed are terrible things, nobody like those things.

delicatessen - 2009-10-29

"This is the place where I will one day hang myself. Right here above these arcade cabinets."

Udderdude - 2009-10-29

Man, this guy is such a sad .. HOLY CRAP IS THAT STRIKERS 1945 PLUS? FUCKING AWESOME.

Yeah, I'm weak.

revdrew - 2009-10-29

This will look great at the custody hearing.

Cleaner82 - 2009-10-29

A custody hearing implies some sort of dispute over who raises the child.

pastorofmuppets - 2009-10-30

He didn't show up, he was going for a high score in Samurai Showdown.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2009-10-29

Why on earth would someone film this?

Hugo Gorilla - 2009-10-29

Here's a fun game you can play. While watching this video, see how many times you can insert "since my wife and kid left me" at the end of his sentences.

fluffy - 2009-10-29

Yes, that improves it immensely.

anvill - 2009-10-29

My favorite is after "Quite a bit more space in here now."

Anhedonia - 2009-10-29

Is there a video that details his wife leaving him? I hate to say it, but this didn't come off as sad to me, but awesome.

Toenails - 2009-10-29

Yeah, but unfortunately he has taken it down. The lukemorse1 tag does still have the poeTV page where you can gleam more info from the comment section.

Basically his wife wanted him to either choose his video-game collecting or his family. I think he was not concerned with helping out around the house and just concentrated on his Glorious Nippon cabinets. He made a final video on Youtube saying goodbye to everyone that followed him and wishing them the best of luck. Then about two weeks later he made another video about how it's great to be back and calls out the "Haters".

Cause, you know, a guy ruining his marriage and family over fucking video games doesn't deserve all those mean comments on a webpage.

Anhedonia - 2009-10-29

Oh, in that context this video is fantastic.

kingarthur - 2009-10-29

This man's sadness...you can almost touch it.

thebaronsdoctor - 2009-10-29

I have to say that the apartment itself seems fairly nice, it looks to be fairly roomy and would be a great space for 1-2 people to live. The bathroom division is a little wacky but otherwise the place looks very nice and surprisingly roomy.

Of course I, myself, wouldn't want to live in that particular apartment as it is now haunted by hundreds of sadness ghosts.

Riskbreaker - 2009-10-29

I posted this for a a single reason, yes, this guy is not a crazy TFL, he leaves in a clean house and what not. But he had everything Chris Chan and the TFL crew would kill to have, a family, and he lost everything thanks to a pile of plastic and circuits. He prefers his internet friends than the love and care of real human beings. Somehow that's ten times more sad and patetic than rambling on the internet about the NWO and how misoginy is really cool.

Also, from what i got from his past videos, his credit card bill is around 800 dollars and raising thanks to all the games he buys. He said he would reduce his video quota, and just some days ago he uploaded like 3 videos in a single day. He's a living lesson to all of us videogame geeks about the limits of this hobby. For that i think it's great that he's documenting this for future generations: "see this kids? Well, don't be like him dammit!"

Riskbreaker - 2009-10-29

Oh yeah, his power bill is up the roof too.

spikestoyiu - 2009-10-30

0 total or a month? Neither seems all that outrageous to me.

Also, white people.

Riskbreaker - 2009-10-30

Monthly.

Sacks5thAvenButt - 2009-10-29

psh, he can not love me all he wants, as long as I get to play ze games and eat ze corn pizzas all night long. (or until closing time)

Chancho - 2009-10-30

I worked with a guy who had six cabinets in his two-bedroom apartment. He looked exactly like comic book guy from the Simpsons. He dumped his girlfriend for another woman that could have been his twin sister and accepted him for what he is.

It was pretty cool when he brought in his wonder-something MAME cabinet to work.
