It's an ABC police procedural involving a tough yet vulnerable female cop reluctantly partnered with a goofball with a gimmick who's a savant at solving crimes, with 'will they/won't they' tension and ridiculous plots. Exactly like the five thousand other identical shows I despise.
So why is it one of my few must watch shows? Can Nathan Fillion really be that charming?
I have only managed to catch a few episodes (and this wasn't one) But I keep meaning to watch it. The idea behind it is stupid. The overall plot is always stupid. The crime is always either obvious or impossible to see coming because there is simply no hint to it at all. The kind where it seems they just make up a twist at the end completely randomly.
But despite all that it is still good. Mostly due to Nathan Fillion.
