Seriously, how did this get cut from the game?

A real person would gladly have given permission. That they censored this regardless just makes me confused.

Jimmy is still in the game, I ran into him just outside the safe room of the last section on this campaign this evening. I think he must be really rare or something, and he is a real bitch to kill, we just sat there pistol whipping him against the wall for a minute.

It's because they want there to be some hope that Jimmy Gibbs is still alive and well. Same reason there's no Midnight Rider zombies.

Maybe he survived and he'll want his car back in L4D3, or he'll be driving one of the rescue vehicles later in the game.

I'm putting my money on a Midnight Riders DLC with you playing as the band to escape the horde. Probably something in similar length to the DLC L4D1 campaign. Also probably an albums worth of music to sell to the nerdiest of fans.

I was wrong anyway; I didn't get a good look but I'm pretty sure Jimmy Gibbs Jr. spawned in a playthrough of this campaign.

The writing on the saferoom wall indicates that the Midnight Riders are not zombies, so I wouldn't be surprised at all if they made another appearance.

This would not make me complain.

So, I hear this game includes New Orleans? To what extent?

Chibisuke - 2009-11-29

Well, at one point there's a flash flood that covers a whole town, and then after that there's a whole campaign called "The Parish".

There's a Mardi Gras float in a courtyard (despite the game being set in October), which is a slight razz...but looting a FEMA trailer makes up for it by a long shot.
