You know, I prefer Mike too, but I just can't imagine him doing this without the mugging and eye rolling. Joel was a little bit more earnest, and so this is funny.
Mike went for the lowest common denominator. Joel was way more cerebral.

Now that I think about it, hasn't Joel kissed Crow as well?
He's also been kissed by Gypsy. I'm pretty sure the only robot who didn't get in on the kissing was poor, neglected Cambot.
All I can picture when I think of Gypsy and Tom making out i Gypsy accidentally swallowing the little guy.
