Caminante Nocturno - 2009-12-06

This is going to end up being a local news story where the reporters and anchors have incredulous looks on their faces.

No one not of Internet will be on his side.

splatterbabble - 2009-12-06

This is a two hour tip from where I live and I have that day off.

Too bad I have a habit of not flying to the defense of sex offenders.

autoplonk - 2009-12-06

He paid his debt to society. And clearly, in this case, he hasn't done anything wrong, or improper. If he re-offended, I'd be the first to demand justice to the letter of the law. But if the point of the justice system is to not only punish, but reform, and we have a person who, from all appearances HAS reformed, then I see no possible purpose in continuing to punish him.

StanleyPain - 2009-12-06

To a certain extent, I would like to agree, only what he was doing was clearly against his terms as a registered sex offender. I agree that his punishment should not be overkill, but on the same token, there's good reasons that sex offenders have guidelines and requirements placed on their release and I think, personally, it would be kinda lame to let this guy slide just because of his personable YouTube side.

splatterbabble - 2009-12-06

All I'm saying is, if one of the terms of his release were have that damned tooth fixed, I could be prompted to show up.

Florida really is a weird place.

themilkshark - 2009-12-06

What StanleyPain said. Edarem could've used his computer all he wanted if he had kept his ugly face to himself. Dude flagrantly ignored the terms of his release for attention and to let us all know how well his dog nurses on him. Edarem is gross, he needs to keep to himself.

kennydra - 2009-12-06

Many more people have gotten away with far more heinous things and got off sheerly because they are entertaining to the public (see: many celebrities). Can't they just like, have someone monitor his computer usage so he's not using it to rape little boys? I like edarem videos and think he should be able to post them.

oddeye - 2009-12-06

Just because "have gotten away with far more heinous things and got off sheerly because they are entertaining to the public (see: many celebrities)" doesn't mean he should get free reign to break the terms of his release

He should be destroyed in my opinion but barring that he should face the full consequences of knowingly breaking said terms.

baleen - 2009-12-06

I thought he was arrested for diddling a kid back in 1981 or whatever, but I guess he just banged some guy.

mashedtater - 2009-12-06

if i could, id suppose id go

Syd Midnight - 2009-12-06

Yeah the law is probably being way too harsh on him but you gotta do your own time. This isn't about whether he's a sexual predator, it's about whether he violated the terms of his release. He did. Sucks for him but thems the rules.
