Seriously, I wish a had a nickel every time a miracle drug that worked great in animal models, but later turned into massive fail pile once humans took it.

With animal testing it just depends on what is being tested. Spraying hairspray into a rabbits eye's and then trying to guess how much pain the rabbit is in is just fucked up and wrong. There are plenty of humans that will let you do that to them for 10 bucks and they can tell you exactly how much it hurts.
