Riskbreaker - 2010-01-12 It was good, if you're way too much into the novels you're certainly not going to be pleased. But it has great battle sequences, good characters and the whole thing is quite engaging.
Needless to say, watch the full two parts, if you went with the cut n past version that was released in the west you're just not getting the full package.

only the changban stuff is good, all the other battle scenes are crap
also the american cut is actually the superior movie for reasons i think ive already explained elsewhere
also the movie does not have great characters, every character except zhou yu and zhuge liang is pretty flat and those two are the script writers bland and uninspiring invention that has nothing to do with either history or literature. your delusion that you are seeing an interesting character is an understandable result of the nigh-godly acting chops of tony leung
