Reminds me of about 9th grade or so, I was the projectile for a teeter-totter catapult with a ton of kids pushing down on the opposite end and one jumping onto it from the middle. Sucker gave me quite a nice launch, and I still distinctly remember feeling that tremendous force building up under my feet before i went flying. So while I may laugh and laugh and laugh at these kids, I was just as dumb, but I also never hurt myself, nor was i getting launched directly at a roof-o-face-cracking.
