I think being involved in this may have been a low point in a lot of actors' lives. And the techies, my god, they couldn't even follow the pony with the spotlight at a few point. They must have been too buy committing suicide.

I honestly think that this is the only proper use of life sized My Little Pony costumes. This is better than their intended purpose. Yes, it's kind of horrifying, most live action stage shows for small children are in retrospect.
