What made him a good host was his sincere fascination with cheap horror movies, he'd lay a ton of interesting trivia on you throughout the movie. Plus he's my favorite Texan ever.

I didn't have HBO and still don't but I really loved him whenever I got to see him.

He publishes a religious humor magazine called The [Wittenberg] Door

There are a few biker and slasher dvds with Joe Bob commentary tracks that are worth looking for. He does I Spit On Your Grave for instance.

Joe Bob Briggs is always and easy 5 stars, man I miss Monstervision now =(
Rodents of Unusual Size
Monstervision and MST3K were pretty much television perfection.

That bit about Jack Brady being the ugliest man in the history of film is quite an accomplishment. I have a fascination with the obscure history of the casts of horrendous films like this. I am in awe of Briggs' knowledge.

Jet Bin Fever
I met him once in Atlanta and he was a really nice, really humble, fascinating human being.
Joe Bob Briggs > Gilbert Gottfried
Why do we have to choose?

This guy is pretty much a true-blue film historian and scholar.
Caminante Nocturno
Joe Bob Briggs always gets a 5.
nah this is lame

His books are pretty funny.
Yeah, Mr. Briggs deserves a five.
