Japanese corporations were really excited about funding a Troma movie because they thought they could make a lot of money on video game and toy licensing. So Troma attempted to make a "mainstream" movie on a one million dollar budget.
This movie is amazing.

Just watching that trailer was a mortifying experience.
I'd describe it as more of a religious experience and proof that there is a Kabukiman.
Maybe, but I still felt embarrassed for everybody involved.
