D'awwwwwwwwWWWWMY GOD!

K. Brass - 2010-03-16

Another cutesy poo animal video. What do people see in these stupid things?

*camera pans up*

Oh.

The Mothership - 2010-03-16

Yea; I wasn't expecting much from this, but I clearly need to stop underestimating Poet V.

fatatty - 2010-03-16

Usually cute animals doing nothing interesting are good enough for people here. This is a nice break from that.

Eroticus E - 2010-03-16

Chaos reigns.

baleen - 2010-03-16

heehee!

voodoo_pork - 2010-03-16

You know what's sad? I get this reference.

Charles - 2010-03-16

I thought that would be the case for at least 3/4 of PoeTV.

splatterbabble - 2010-03-16

Is it a cub or a kit?

Rev. Blackson Pollock - 2010-03-16

It's a soon to be conversation piece.

Innocent Bystander - 2010-03-16

Fffffuck.

Hooper_X - 2010-03-16

This seems like a really bad idea.

Zoot42 - 2010-03-16

It is. Even though foxes are "so cute!!1" They are wild animals and when kept as "pets" will end up hurting their owner/being abandoned.

Potrod - 2010-03-16

Haven't they bred domesticated, tame foxes? I remember reading somewhere that it took 40 generations to get them tame.

splatterbabble - 2010-03-16

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domesticated_silver_fox

If I recall correctly it took about eight generations to mutate.

Meerkat - 2010-03-16

I know a lady that has a pet fox. It isn't vicious, just a hell of a lot of work. It's hyper, jumpy, and starts warbling/yodeling in the middle of the night and/or for no apparent reason.

I think at that point it becomes less of a pet and more of an ongoing rehabilitation project, but this lady also has a Caracol cat and some Servals.

And she works as a clerk at a big insurance company here, go figure. No clue how she manages to not have a nervous breakdown, I sure as hell would.

spikestoyiu - 2010-03-16

I'm pretty sure the reason it warbles and yodels is because it's a fucking fox and that's what they do because that's how they are made.

Ageusiatic - 2010-03-17

There's a good reason why most exotic pets aren't common. The less you hear of someone owning something, the more of a problem it is to own it, most likely. Low level exotic would be something like a sugar glider, and medium would be foxes and raccoons, along with your larger reptiles.

In Texas, it's legal to own all sorts of crazy things- lions and tigers are perfectly legal to own, I don't think you even need a license. Still, practically nobody owns one because they can maul you, they don't do tricks, and the novelty probably wears off after your third weekly 0 food bill.

Meerkat - 2010-03-16

He is actually pretty laid back, normally these things are hyper as hell.

Charles - 2010-03-16

Maybe that's just the depression.

zatojones - 2010-03-16

the macabre decorations keep him in line

Chibisuke - 2010-03-16

Foxes act like this when they have been beaten. A happy fox jumps around. This fox's tail stays low to keep from shitting itself. I've spent three summers volunteeing at a fox shelter. This is a beaten fox.

oogaBooga - 2010-03-16

You can see it in his eyes.

jangbones - 2010-03-16

The delivery on "Good boy" makes it the best phrase I have heard on poetv in months.

James Woods - 2010-03-16

What a fantastic little fox.

ashtar. - 2010-03-16

I don't know how the fox feels, but I have a healthy fear of this woman.

Desidiosus - 2010-03-16

There are people here who would have an unhealthy obsession with this woman.

themilkshark - 2010-03-16

At first I figured it's just some weird shut in who wants a pet no one else can have (so for once in their lives people will envy what they have). Then the bitch pans up to the head on the wall and I realize it's far, far more sinister than I thought.

Paracelsus - 2010-03-16

The juxtaposition is true, frank, and beautiful.

poorwill - 2010-03-16

Oh, it knows all about the head on the wall. Sleep tight, lady.

pentheus - 2010-03-16

Foxes act like this when they have been molested. A happy fox jumps around. This fox's tail stays low to keep from shitting itself. I've spent three summers volunteering at a fox shelter. This is a molested fox.

Caminante Nocturno - 2015-02-16

It's like watching Adams Family home movies.
