It always amazes me how a lot of these women don't see the weird irony/dissonance of how purposefully going out of your way to BE fat or become part of a fat-acceptance world sort of negates that you are in control of your own life and immune to outside expectations of what you should look like.

When I hear these people trying to explain their reasons for choosing to be really really fat, it reminds me of myself trying to convince myself and others that my massive teenage drug abuse was actually just totally cool and OK
