Needs the "what hells elevator sounds like" tag.

The best part of this is how, for the most part, the singing really works. You can close your eyes and imagine him in a lounge suit on a cruise ship singing exactly the same way.

Because of you, I seriously just kept having that mental image for the entirety of this video. For some reason, in my version they're all wearing horrible Hawaiian shirts though.

Also WTF is that scrolling ticker on the Jumbotron behind them?

I'm guessing those are the names of people who thought 5 euros for a text message was a bargain.

BorrowedSolution - 2010-03-28

Cool because; Fuck you, Metallica.

athodyd - 2010-03-28

This is actually the second smooth jazz/lounge cover of Enter Sandman I've heard, the first one being a Transformer Di Roboten track from a Planet Mu album.

This is longer and arguably better but the TDR version comes right after their goth Beach Boys cover so its a draw for me.

Not really a cover so much as a remix. Sort of.

Kumquatxop - 2010-03-28

Another fine example of an appropriate submitter name

memedumpster - 2010-03-28

Metallica is not this talented.

Riskbreaker - 2010-03-28

This.

charmlessman - 2010-03-29

Double This.

RocketBlender - 2010-03-28

I'm not sure which new POE-trend I like more: the metal version of non-metal songs, or the non-metal version of metal songs.

Just the the Miley Cyrus vid: the audience shots make this.

glasseye - 2010-03-28

Both are utterly hilarious.

BillLumbergh - 2010-03-28

LOL FAKE

Dib - 2010-03-29

I'm too impressed by how well they nailed the song, down to the solo.

Syd Midnight - 2010-03-29

TURN IT DOWN TO THREEEEEEEE! SMOOTH JAAAAAZZ!

andybrownie - 2010-03-29

metallica fucking sick broo

kingofthenothing - 2010-08-09

even better than the Richard Cheese version.

Juice Eggs McKenna - 2013-01-14

Needs a better vocalist though. Frank Bennett would kill this.

The Mothership - 2013-03-20

This is really more bossa nova than smooth jazz, but ok. Solid mashup.
